Diwali 2026 is on Sunday, 8 November. Lakshmi and Ganesha are worshipped that evening, after sunset. The festival runs five days, from Dhanteras on Friday, 6 November to Bhai Dooj on Wednesday, 11 November; this year Choti Diwali falls on the same day as Diwali.
